Our Toddler Community Class of 2020!

Greetings

List of Suggested Activities –

  • Enjoy your breakfast.
  • Clear your breakfast dishes from the table; either put them in a basin or in the sink.
  • Load the dishwasher or wash the breakfast dishes. 
  • Clean the table (with soap, water, brush and sponge)
  • Let us play a counting game. You can cut out triangles using brown paper or cardboard and an adult can help you write the numbers. You will also need pom-poms and tongs. The game is called – How many scoops of ice cream would you like? 
  • Learn the names of the insects in Spanish.
  • Let us learn the names of the different states of America. There are 50 states are you ready! Song about the 50 States of the USA.
  • Are you hungry? It’s lunchtime.
  • Enjoy counting and singing the community song.
  • Clear your lunch dishes from the table; either put them in a basin or in the sink.
  • Load the dishwasher or wash the lunch dishes. 
  • Clean the table (with soap, water, brush and sponge)
  • Use the toilet.
  • Get ready for nap time.
  • When you wake up, use the toilet.
  • Be sure and have some movement time indoors or outdoors. If you go to the park, just wash your hands really well before you go there and after you come home.
  • Enjoy making a sweet treat with your family this weekend!

  • Jenny put a potato in a jar with water.
  • See what started growing on the potato. Roots!
  • Roots grow in water or in soil. There are different Parts of the root.
  • Last few alphabets in Spanish!
  • Are you hungry? It’s lunchtime. Which root vegetable will you enjoy today!

  • Let us use nature for threading today. You can find flower petals, leaves and string them together to make a garland or a flower crown. 
  • In Hawaii people welcome guests and wear flower garlands called Lei. They thread the whole flower together instead of petals. The flowers used to make the Lei and head crown are called- Frangipani.   
  • Few more Alphabets in Spanish.
  • The rabbits we see in Chicago are called Eastern Cottontail. But there are many more breeds of rabbits. 
  • Jenny did some art using marbles. She put a piece of paper in a deep tray. She then put a big drop of paint on a paper and placed the marble in the drop of blue paint and one drop of red paint. She then held the handles of the tray and moved the tray to the right side and then to left. Look at the patterns she created. 
  • Are you hungry? It’s lunchtime.

  • Today let us learn about the dog. Dogs’ babies are called puppies. They give human beings companionship. They live in a house called a kennel. Most dogs enjoy chewing on bones and eating dog food.
  • Emely used a hammer and nails to hang artwork in her house. What tools can you find in the tool box at your house?
  • What vegetable stem will  you enjoy today?
